Old and new Poets in the Hindi poetry scene have come together in Red FM’s The Kavi Collective. This is the first live iteration of Red FM’s “Kavi Sammelan,” which previously only existed in digital form. Kumar Vishwas, a professor and renowned Hindi poet, will host the show’s third season.

Musicians Shikha Awadhesh, Dinesh Bawra, Sudeep Bhola, and Rohit Sharma will perform with the master. To kick off the evening, poet RJ Raunac will read from his work, and the poetry audience may relax and take in the novel atmosphere.

“Continuing with our unshakable conviction in developing communities and experience events, we are returning with the strongest instrument at our disposal, the spoken word,” Nisha Narayanan, Director and COO of Red FM and Magic FM, stated. We strongly believe poetry is a gift from God that can be utilized to change the world. The confidence that comes from being able to express yourself freely, to go out on stage, and to perform knowing that what you’re doing is making a difference in the world, is a powerful feeling. Our hope with Kavi Collective is that it would serve as a meeting place for established and emerging Hindi poets.
