On December 13, 2022, it was announced that Nintendo Switch would be the launch platform for Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion. This is the first time the game has been made accessible on non-PlayStation platforms and home consoles; it will also arrive on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
